Link married with Princess Zelda, that as now became the Queen and him the King, an old enemy of Link emerge from the darkness of the Evil Realm.

It is the winter of 1315, but it is not the frigid winds that keep every royal, noble, merchant, and peasant alike locked up inside of their homes. It is a much colder wind that is sweeping through - the winds of change.

Once upon a time, the kingdom of Hyrule thrived under the fair sovereignty of the Harkinian royal family - the crown prince Sheik, and his parents Link and Zelda. Its people more often than not died of natural causes, starvation and conflict a rarity, the surname 'Dragmire' nothing more than a horrible, far-from-cherished memory.

All of this was to change, however, on the eve of a peasant girl's fifteenth birthday. One whom Sheik dearly despised, but would ultimately become his only chance for survival. Racing down staircases, hugging walls, nearly out of breath in a place that he should have felt at ease in, Sheik is the sole royal survivor of a catastrophe which left Hyrule's monarchy in shards.

An entirely unfamiliar scenario he would have never expected to unfold.

He is the kingdom's last hope.

Or what is left of it, anyway...

 Millions of years ago, Three Goddesses descended upon the Chaos that was Hyrule. Din. With her flaming strong arms created the Red Earth. Nayru. Poured her Wisdom on the Earth and created the Spirit of the Law. Farore. Created all life forms that would uphold the law.  (Basically, they created the world and stuff, but this way sounds much more atmospheric and metaphorical don't' you think?) When the Goddesses left Earth to return to the Heavens, they left behind the Triforce. Since then, the land the Triforce stood on has become sacred land, hence the Sacred Realm. Over the years there have been wars to claim the Sacred Relic. Many Years ago a Woman gravely injured rode away from the Castle towards the forbidden forest and entrusted her Son to the Great Deku Tree. I think that is how it goes, anyway let's see how things are turning out for our Heroes.
